PETALING JAYA: It is unlikely the Internal Security Act (ISA) will be repealed in the light of current domestic and international developments, the Joseph R. Crowley Programme in International Human Rights said in a recently released report.
The report – the culmination of a one-year project on the ISA in Malaysia last year – said increased fears of terrorist attacks have substantially reversed the impetus for reform among the public.
