KUALA LUMPUR: Nearly 500 students who sat for their Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia last year have failed to get Public Services Department (PSD) scholarships despite their outstanding results, MCA Youth education bureau head Dr Wee Ka Siong said.
He added that these students, most of whom had taken more than the requisite number of papers for the examination, were currently appealing to the PSD for their applications to be reconsidered.
