THE House had to postpone the second reading of a Bill following complaints that the MPs were not given a copy of the document at least one day earlier, as stipulated under the rules.
Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Tengku Azlan Sultan Abu Bakar started to explain the Hotels (Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur) Bill when Dr Tan Seng Giaw (DAP – Kepong) said that the MPs were only given a copy of the Bill yesterday.
