Businessman's suit dismissed

KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court yesterday dismissed a businessman’s libel suit against CTOS-emr Sdn Bhd, a company that provides financial institutions with data on individual and corporate borrowers.

Judge Datuk Ramly Ali, who gave his decision in chambers, said the grounds of judgement would be given within two weeks.

Soh Chun Seng, who is director of several companies under the Audio One Group of Companies, had filed the suit against CTOS in 1997 for alleged libel over information on his credit checks in a report dated April 29, 1997.
