KUALA LUMPUR: Some 1,200 families were evacuated from four areas in the city at the height of the massive floods in the Klang Valley on Tuesday.
The residents from Kampung Periok, Kampung Cendana, Kampung Abdullah Hukum and Kampung Benteng were moved to higher ground by City Hall's rescue squad, helped by the Fire and Rescue Department and workers of waste management company Alam Flora.
