MCA leaders undecided over V-P posts

REACTION has been mixed from the 13 state MCA chairmen and deputy chairmen over the filling of the two vice-president’s posts which fell vacant following the elevation of Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting to president and Datuk Chan Kong Choy to deputy president on May 23. 

According to Sin Chew Daily, of the 13 state party leaders – who are also members of the MCA central committee (CC) – seven are opposed to the filling of the two vacancies at the present time while the other six are leaving the matter to the CC, which will meet on Friday.
