KANGAR: Perlis has called for inclusion of the Asean Kite Festival in Malaysia’s annual tourism calendar in efforts to lure more foreign tourists.
In making the call, Perlis Culture, Arts and Tourism Committee chairman Datuk Abu Bakar Ismail said the festival would not only infuse more interest in the art of kite-making and kite-flying but also forge closer relations among Asean nations.
