MALAYSIA Nanban published a report on a leader of India’s Congress Party blaming President Abdul Kalam and Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who are still single, for being the cause of the current drought in India.
The daily reported Madya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh as saying that bramacharis (bachelors) were the cause of the prolonged dry spell that had badly affected the country.
