SINGAPORE: Two mobile non-contact scanners have been placed at the checkpoint at the KTM Berhad railway station in Tanjung Pagar to help screen passengers for Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) symptoms.
The machines, which were installed on Wednesday, record temperatures above the normal reading of 37.5°C of passengers using the checkpoint to enter Malaysia by train.
