KUALA LUMPUR: Foreign students studying in Malaysia may no longer need to carry their passports around, if the Education Ministry decides to go ahead with a proposal to introduce special identification cards for them.
Education Minister Tan Sri Musa Mohamad said the matter would be raised with the Immigration Department following feedback from foreign students who said they were afraid to carry their passport with them in case it got lost.
