Speedier organ collection with regional teams

PUTRAJAYA: The Government will set up regional retrieval teams in several states to speed up the collection of organs for transplantation. 

National Transplant Co-ordinator Dr Lela Yasmin Mansor said that with the teams, the centre hoped to be able to make use of the skills of doctors in the states and not just rely on surgeons from the Klang Valley.
