MIRI: The Sarawak Natural Resources and Environment Board has detected land-clearing activities by shifting cultivators and hill-padi planters in several interior regions in the state.
The start of the activities is a sign that open-burning of farm wastes will start soon, said the board's assistant controller, Dania Goyog.
