BRATs learn to think quick in an interview

PENANG: Interviewing people to get information takes more than just asking straight-forward questions, 39 teenagers attending The Star’s BRATs (Young Journalist) workshop yesterday found out.  

During a session on interviewing skills, the youngsters who had their first taste of print journalism also found they had to think on their feet when dealing with different kinds of characters and situations. Earlier, they were briefed on what journalism is and the various aspects of news-gathering.
