KUALA LUMPUR: Police actions have helped to drastically reduce lorry hijackings and break-ins at factories and warehouses but tens of millions of ringgit can be saved annually if owners take preventive measures and co-operate with the police.
Deputy Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Mohd Bakri Omar said although the number of cases had been dropping with the setting up a police task force in Bukit Aman, the value of goods lost was enormous.
