Ministry to act on varsity applicants' complaints

THE Education Ministry received 800 complaints from students who have either failed to enter public universities or have not been accepted into courses that they have applied for, Nanyang Siang Pau and Sin Chew Jit Poh reported. 

Deputy Education Minister Datuk Hon Choon Kin was quoted yesterday as saying that the ministry had received 70 complaints from students, 91 through the MCA headquarters, 203 from Penang MCA and 500 from MCA Youth.
