KOTA KINABALU: Tourists from the Far East have begun returning to Sabah, giving a fresh lease of life to the state's tourism industry which has been reeling from the effects of SARS and the Iraq war.
Some 178 tourists from Hong Kong, who had been shunning overseas travel following the outbreak of SARS, arrived here on Tuesday with the resumption of Dragonair’s thrice-weekly flights from Hong Kong to Kota Kinabalu.
