AMPANG: The Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) wants Housing and Local Government Deputy Minister Datuk M. Kayveas to show proof of alleged graft among enforcement officers serving the municipality.
In response to a statement by Kayveas who claimed that enforcement officers were collaborating with “tontos” by tipping them off on raids by the council, MPAJ president Ahmad Kabit said the deputy minister had to show proof of the allegations.
