Malaysia wants clear answers on SARS

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia does not want any ambiguity on SARS-related issues and wants matters to be cleared when officials here meet their counterparts from across the Causeway at the Malaysia-Singapore cross-border committee meeting on Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome next month.  

Health Ministry deputy director-general Datuk Dr Ismail Merican said that while Malaysia was looking forward to the meeting on June 6 and to boost relations with its neighbour, it will seek to clarify issues.
