KOTA TINGGI: The Foreign Ministry's undersecretary for South-East Asia and Pacific Datuk Zainal Abidin Zain has been appointed the director-general of the South-East Asian Regional Centre for Counter-Terrorism to be based in Kuala Lumpur.
Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar said the centre was expected to be in operation soon.
