Detainee seeks release from Air Molek prison

JOHOR BARU: A 26-year-old detainee has filed an application in the High Court for a writ of habeas corpus seeking an order for his release from the Air Molek prison here. 

M. Rajeshkanna claimed although he was ordered to be remanded pending trial on a charge under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drug Act, he was subjected to inhumane prison conditions.
