DATUK Seri Dr Ling Liong Sik walked into the MCA president's office 30 minutes after the central committee had started its meeting – he told the MCA leaders that he was sticking to his decision to step down from his post.
Waiting inside the office, which adjoined the conference room where the central committee members were meeting, were his two sons, Hee Leong and Hee Keat, and some aides.
