A SURVEY by the Education Ministry has shown that about 30% of Chinese school pupils who passed UPSR, failed to complete their secondary education in government schools.
According to a report by Sin Chew Daily, the survey revealed that of the 99,055 Chinese school students, who continued their studies in the government secondary schools after going through the UPSR in 1997, only 74,807 remained in these schools in 2002.
