KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Mahathir Mohamad has defended the Government decision to reduce the employees’ EPF contribution to 9%, saying the reduction can boost consumption by up to RM2bil a year.
He said although some employees would only get an additional RM10 to spend from their pay packet, others would get more.
