Stay on until 2005, Ling urged

PUTRAJAYA: MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Ling Liong Sik said he will take note of the views of the grassroots leaders when deciding whether to stay in his party post until 2005. 

“They came from all over the country to advise me, very sincere advice and good advice,” he said after meeting some 500 grassroots leaders from five states and also leaders from the Youth and Wanita wings here yesterday. However, Dr Ling declined to comment on speculations over his indication to relinquish his party post.
