PUTRAJAYA: The plan to make it compulsory for election candidates to take a pledge on good campaign practices as proposed by the Election Commission may not be implemented for the next general election after all.
Commission chairman Datuk Wira Abdul Rashid Abdul Rahman said that even if the pledge were to be implemented, it would have to be modified to protect the interest of the political parties.
