RESIDENTS in Cha’ah, Johor, who claimed they were cheated by a direct-selling company, cornered and locked two of its saleswomen in a room before handing them over to police, Tamil Nesan reported.
They claimed they had each paid RM2,000 to the company in a lucky draw scheme in which they were told that they could win a car or a motorcycle.
