KUALA LUMPUR: Samsung Electronics Co Ltd has donated 5,000 surgical masks and RM50,000 to the Health Ministry to help create awareness and educate the public on the deadly Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS).
Health deputy director-general Datuk Dr Ismail Merican said the cash would be channelled to the Government’s SARS fund, which would be used in awareness and education programmes.
