PETALING JAYA: Staff in private hospitals are entitled to full remuneration and compensation once they are under quarantine for suspected Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), said Association of Private Hospitals of Malaysia (APHM) president Datuk Dr Ridzwan Bakar yesterday.
He said that this was because “technically, it is a management directive to comply with local health regulations.”
