KUALA LUMPUR: There were shouts of joy outside a court room here yesterday after a magistrate ordered a bus company to pay more than RM237,600 in arrears to the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) for the companys 260 workers.
The arrears are from bonuses paid out from February 1993 to February 2002. The company, Selangor Omnibus Co. Berhad, was said to have only made EPF deductions from the workers salaries but not from their bonus.
