Filipino pleads not guilty to stabbing boy

KOTA KINABALU: A jobless Filipino will be tried on Aug 30 next year for the death of 12-year-old Adrian Wong Kia Chun who was stabbed after being robbed of RM14 near a shopping complex here on April 19. 

Sessions Court judge Datuk Nurchaya Arshad on Friday fixed Aug 30 to Sept 3, 2004, for the trial of Bobby John Wayne, 21, after he pleaded not guilty to a charge of causing the death of Wong near the Wisma Merdeka shopping complex.
