IPOH: The Tabung Haji savings scheme for school children has been successful in encouraging youngsters to save, with about RM1bil being deposited since its introduction in 1988.
“It is evident that this scheme has attracted not only the students but also their teachers and school staff,” said Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Abdul Hamid Zainal Abidin.
