KUALA LUMPUR: Education is the vehicle that will enable Malaysian Indians to change the perception of being an uneducated community to one that is respected by all, MIC president Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu said yesterday.

“We can change the image of the community through education. Bear with me for a few years and we will be able to see the fruits of our efforts,” he said at the closing of the 57th MIC general assembly at the PWTC.
