KUALA LUMPUR: The MIC's much touted electronic voting system, used for the first time at this year's AGM, was limited to half of the delegates after glitches and inadequate machines caused long queues.
MIC president Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu ordered manual voting to be conducted after seeing things crawling at a snail's pace at the eight voting booths. Voting began at 1.20pm for the election of the 23 central working committee posts.
