Teachers voice concern over oral assessment

PETALING JAYA: The decision to introduce school-based oral assessment from next month may not produce the desired results, said teachers who expressed concern over this decision. 

“Putting the idea into practice may be a problem due to students’ varying language ability. The ongoing oral assessment for Form Four and Five students has not been successful as it is really the same as the previous form of assessment,” a Form Five English teacher said.
