PUTRAJAYA: Asean tourism and airline industries are fighting against the negative effects of the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) in the region.
Aseanta – an organisation comprising public and private sectors from the 10 member countries, including hotels, restaurants, tourist associations and national airlines – would convene an Intra-Asean Committee meeting in Kuala Lumpur on May 20 to discuss ways to boost the travel industry.
