Govt disappointed MILF peace talks postponed

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia is disappointed that today's peace talks here between the Philippine Government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) has been postponed indefinitely but continues to hope for a peaceful resolution. 

Defence Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said he was waiting for official reasons from Manila for the postponement and for more details on the recent outbreak of violence on the island of Mindanao.
