KUALA LUMPUR: The real test for the newly implemented Malaysia Remuneration Scheme (MRS) got underway when the first batch of civil servants sat for the Competency Assessment or Pernilaian Tahap Kecekapan (PTK) examination yesterday.
The PTK, which assesses the work competency of candidates together with the evaluation report from their department heads, form the basis for salary increments and promotion of civil servants under the MRS.
