KUALA LUMPUR: The Government has not ruled out the possibility that pirates, robbers and terrorists could be using the islands off Sabah as a base to conduct their activities.
Acting Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said the discovery and seizure of bomb detonators and ammunition by the armed forces in Sandakan on Wednesday showed that there were such activities there.
