LUMUT: The Royal Malaysian Navy will only consider obtaining more advanced mines when the national economy is good, said its Fleet Commander Laksamana Madya Datuk Ilyas Din.
At present, the MR80 sea mines purchased in 1984 were efficient enough to meet the navy’s needs, he said.
