PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia will do its own laboratory tests to identify the genetic make up of SARS to come up with accurate diagnostic methods.
Science, Technology and Environment Minister Datuk Seri Law Hieng Ding said an interim laboratory of the proposed Institute of Genomics and Molecular Biology at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) would take up the job in collaboration with the Institute of Medical Research (IMR).
