Sarawak rural folk unaware about SARS

MIRI: The Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome may have made headlines around the world but people living in northern Sarawak’s deep interior are largely unaware of the disease, let alone know how to tackle it if it strikes. 

Feedback obtained by Sahabat Alam Malaysia (SAM) showed that the rural folk were ignorant of SARS and the havoc that the disease had created all over the world.
