KUALA LUMPUR: A mental hospital in Kuching has been sealed off as a precaution against the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) after several patients came down with respiratory problems recently.
The state health authorities have also barred visitors to the women’s ward of the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) after a 44-year-old mental patient died there of bacterial pneumonia infection last Tuesday.
