KUCHING: The harmonious co-existence of the people of Sarawak has brought special meaning to the state's independence, said Yang di-Pertua Negri Tun Abang Muhamad Salahuddin.
He said the people should take pride that the state has achieved good political and socio-economic development in a peaceful environment in the past 40 years.
