TAMIL Nesan and Malaysia Nanban highlighted the signing of a collective agreement between the National Union of Plantation Workers (NUPW) and the Malaysian Agricultural Producers Association, which provides for monthly salary for plantation workers.
The dailies hoped the new agreement would help upgrade the standard of living of plantation workers in the country.
