MIRI: The freeze on the harvesting of the edible bird’s nest in the prehistoric Niah National Park caves will be lifted next month.
The park’s officer-in-charge of conservation, Dr Lim Chan Koon, said the state authorities were convinced that the lifting of the ban would not affect the population of swifts, the birds which produced the edible nests.
