China to get update on SARS situation

KUALA LUMPUR: The Culture, Arts and Tourism Ministry has sent three officials to China to give an update on the SARS situation in Malaysia to tourism agencies there. 

“It is very important to provide a clear picture on Malaysia's tourism industry to government officers in other countries. Therefore, our officials are there to give the latest information as well as to notify them about the policies we have made,” Deputy Minister Datuk Dr Ng Yen Yen told reporters yesterday after announcing the coming Federal Territory Wanita MCA food and fun fair next month.
