KUALA LUMPUR: The Government will consider offering more attractive allowances to police personnel in a move to attract a larger number of non-Malays to join the force.
Deputy Home Minister Chor Chee Heung said the Government had, over the past two years, tried various methods to attract non-Malays to join the police force but the number of Chinese applicants was still declining.
