KUALA LUMPUR: As war and strange new diseases plague today's world, the meaning of Easter to commemorate God's love for mankind seems all the more important and urgent.
Calvary Church of Kuala Lumpur is making this year's Easter all the more meaningful with its musical presentation A Timeless Love to be held at Putra Stadium, Bukit Jalil, here tomorrow and on Saturday starting at 8pm.
The two-hour show features a 160-voice choir with a well-lit cross on the background and a drama by a cast of 60 depicting the crucifixion of Jesus more than 2,000 years ago.
The Easter Sunday service will be held at the same venue at 10am. Admission for both is free. A donation for a humanitarian organisation will be taken on Saturday night.
