MALACCA: The former municipal council president Zaini Md Nor became the first mayor of the Malacca Historic City Council yesterday, and pledged to improve the infrastructure of Malacca to that befitting a city.
Governor Tun Syed Ahmad Syed Mahmud Shahabudin handed Zaini the letter of appointment in a ceremony held at Seri Negeri.
