Project to cut oil-waste pollution

MIRI: A pilot project will be carried out in Sarawak soon to experiment with the use of environmentally-friendly chemical agents to reduce the level of oil-waste pollution caused by palm oil processing mills. 

The project, the first of its kind involving this method, would be jointly conducted by Curtin University of Technology Sarawak, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Bintulu Lumber Development Sdn Bhd and Curtin University in Western Australia.
